Centrum Rent a Car

Where to start? We originally booked a car for our trip in July, this had to be cancelled because I caught covid. No problems at all. We tried to book again for the end of this month, my wife tried to book over the phone same as last time. To cut a long story short the promised return of calls (3) and no response to emails is not a good advert for this company. We will look elsewhere.

Terrible experience.. We booked in the night a fiat 500 for the following day, pickup from the Wilanow office at 11:00. We were there at 11:00 and the office was closed. We knocked on the closed door nothing.. we called the office nothing.. we had to call the office of the company in the centre when they told us that they were completely unaware of our reservation ( even if we had done the reservation via their own site nobody had noticed) and that they will bring the car in half an hour to Wilanow. They brought the car to Wilanow 1,5 hour later where we we staying all that time in the stairs outside the office. The guy apologised by saying he was late because he said he found two booking we had made one for a fiat 500 and a van. It seems that to erase the booking from the van from the system took him one hour ( I just believe that all this was an excuse as we ever booked ny van and never got any other confirmation letter apart from the fiat 500). He gave us the key like everything was fine and we could start our trip. They offered us for compensation 100km more allowance which we didnt need as we already had 900km in total and we intended to travel only 200. I find this way of compensation very cheap because it is like they are giving you something they know you want use. At the return I left the car with an additional 1/8 of benzine which I reported to the agent that collected it and of course he didnt offer any compensation for the extra fuel i had left in the car. Overall I cant understand how they think it is ok not check what bookings they have, to send you automatic confirmation letters for pick up of cars at offices that are closed, to tell you they are on the way to give you a car when they havent still gone out of the office yet, and not to offer to give a refund for the extra benzine I returned the car with.. Very bad experience..
