Genealogy Research in Poland - Marta Maćkowiak

I contacted Marta after browsing one of the Facebook groups.After a short conversation I realized that Marta specializes in Genealogy Research in Poland.I sent Marta very basic material - my father's testimony sheets" to Yad Vashem.My father is a lonely holocaust survivor who didn't really share and talk about his past and his family.I asked Marta to check for me at least three generations back of both my grandfather and grandmother.It took a few weeks.....but Martha got back to me with a detailed report of dozens of pages

I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with Marta's genealogical research services. Finding information about my 4 great-grandparents, that all came from Poland more than 100 years ago, was no easy task. Especially that they all lived in different partitions of Poland and official documents could potentially be in Polish, Latin, German, or Russian (or even destroyed/missing).Due to Marta's language and research skills we were able to discover vital documents pertaining to my great-grandparents. Marta was able to translate them into English and provided a detailed report, including Google Map locations, on each of my great-grandparents' families, going back to the mid-1800s.Furthermore, Marta is very dedicated and a joy to work with. I had the opportunity to contact Ms M. Maćkowiak Genealogy skills through a very informative and resourceful Group / Jewish Roots in Breslau / Facebook. My particular journey into genealogy took me to Breslau / Krojanke /Kempen city history and its search for past names and families to bring them to the present. I received in depth knowledge from Marta on all aspects of research: She is not only well experienced in the wide arch of Registrys and Certificates tracing but has in-depth look as well into what history and the past has to tell us.

Thanks to dear Marta, we were able to get our family-tree back to the middle of the 18th century in Wroclaw and Warsaw. Very efficiently and with a lot of fascinating details. We are most grateful for this and hope to be able to continue our research in the near future.
