BIKE TOUR GDAŃSK

Celkově Gdaňsk je úžasný a služby půjčení kola jsou úžasné, jediná škoda je cena v porovnání s MHD, které je mnohonásobně nižší a rychlejší. Navíc technický stav mého kola nebyl zcela 100%. Ale i tak bych rád vyzdvihl tyto služby.

Very poor quality of the bikes that we rented in this shop in the arcades near a small Carrefour supermarket. On-site, we tried four bikes, non of which were without defects - we then took the ones with the least defects (in this case: missing front light, bent bicycle weel, not properly working gear shift, loose back mudguard which would constantly vibrate loudly until provisionally fixed by the shop assistant, etc.). The bike bell only had a broken frame remaining, the actual bell cover was gone - at some point during the rental, I sustained a 4 cm long bleeding cut from the stick of the broken frame, which left a scar on my arm until the current day.Given the very poor quality of the bikes, prices were rather expensive (although similar to other places around Gdansk - 50 PLN per day). Upon rental, the shop assistant was reasonably friendly, upon bike return there was no shop assistant (we were told to lock the bikes and push the key underneath the door). No deposit had been requested to be paid, but given the poor quality of the bikes, probably no one would want to steal them anyways. Even if you will probably not find much cheaper prices throughout town, I would not recommend anyone to rent here - at least you should be able to find better quality bikes for a comparable price.
