Global Rent a Car

DO NOT RENT HERE, THEY STEAL YOUR FULL DEPOSIT!!!!!It was my worst rental car experience by far.You dont het to see the cat before you sign the rental agreement and you het pressured to pay for extra's.Once you get to the car you can see it is already damaged, but no one to report it to.The car itself was nice, nothing bad to say about that.The return of the car was weird, you just park in de garage and deposit the Keys in a box.I never recieved a rental agreement or a any type of confirmation.Theyve charged may credit card tot the full deposit (€463). And i didn't get any explanation, after TWO months i finally tot pictures so i could claim my insurrance.They are fraudelent and please do not rent a cat here!!!

Czas oczekiwania na tydzień wcześniej zamówione auto ponad godzinę. Otrzymałem auto poobijane jak ulęgałka z 16 miejscami uszkodzeń.(nie czas żeby naprawić ?) Odbiór auta w ciemnym garażu podziemnym. Zwrot klucze do skrzynki na drzwiach biura. Na mailu dotyczącym zwrotu rysa na aucie nie na tyle głęboka żeby dyskwalifikować auto z dalszego wypożyczania, ale wystarczająco głęboka aby obciążyć mają kartę na 1111 zł. Przy tej ilości uszkodzeń na samochodzie sam się nasuwa wniosek, że jest to metoda na zarabianie. Teoretycznie mogła ta rysa powstać podczas mego użytkowania. ale jest to 5% szansy. Jeżdżę 25 lat bezwypadkowo i samochód miał czujniki. Firma zdążyła pobrać z mojej karty dodatkowo 31 euro nie wiadomo za co. Próba kontaktu z działem reklamacji odpowiedzą do 30 dni. Absolutnie nie polecam. Minie jako klienta już nie zobaczą i niech to będzie przestrogą dla innych.

Hi,This company is a scam....I booked the car using Rentals.com with full cover.When collecting the car they told me to pay for full cover again.They did not consider the fact that I paid this already.After some discussions, response was: take it or leave it.In the end i paid double for this rental.Never, ever will use them again.

Positive part of my experience:- was granted with larger than booked car without any need to pay any extra fee (due to they did not have required car)Negative part of my experience:- if you agree verbaly with their agent on later delivery, insist on having new return time confirmed in written with aim to avoid extra fee for late return. I have agreed with agent on late delivery verbally only and so the company did not accept my verbal agreement with agent. Yes, I was naive.- was charged app 50€ for the late return (app 5 hrs later returned) although the daily rate of booked car was app 35€- was charged 12 PLN which is app 3€ per liter of missing petrol, which is too much as regular price of petrol in Poland is app 1.3€- office is at mezanine if Chopin Airport, which is not easy to find as many other rental companies are centralized at ground floor and you cannot find any signes which might help you to find Global rent a car. Moreover, its not so easy to get there in case you have more than handluggage with you- when I came to return car (17:33) the office was empty and the box where you shall to let the key is just a plastic box, which can be easily open by anyone. So, you do leave the place with doubts whether they will find the key there later.- I do not recommend this car rental company

I fly to Warsaw quite frequently and I have tried out every car rental company located at Warsaw Airport, I rented cars all over the world and I have never ever had such a terrible experience like with global rent a car".As many others claim

This car rental agency is a scam. If you don't buy insurance with them, they will charge you for something you could not have thought of. The car we received was quite damaged but we checked the pick-up protocol and everything seemed to be marked, except a scratch on the windshield which we took a picture of. When we returned the car nobody was there to receive the keys. The next day they charged us 500 EUR because of a big scratch on the roof of the car which could not have been caused by us as we only drove a total of two hours on asphalt with that car. Also that scratch on the windshield was not mentioned in the return protocol. They probably saved it to charge another costumer. We never thought to take a picture of the roof of the car. I am sure that they give cars with such not-so-obvious damages to charge people who don't buy their insurance. We were lucky that our insurance agreed to reimburse us. Never rent a car from them.

Very bad experience with this company. After returning the car in the same condition as I received it, i was told everything was OK and that I would receive the deposit back in some days. But 3 days after returning home, I was charged 300 € in my credit card. No invoice, no bill, no e-mail from them. No explanation why I was charged with this amount. They don't answer e-mails. This company is a fraud. Don't rent with them!

You will waste plenty of time getting the car(i spent more than an hour in the que), as there is only one person attends the office! Bunch of crooks, rental cost attracts with the cheap prices, but in the end you pay way more major companies for their hidden fees!They charged me 100 Dollars!!!!! For the fact the car wasn’t washed outside(either it was absolutely clean) and you can’t prove anything!Will never rent with them again!Don’t deal with this company for your own sake!

Cheap rentals, but clearly they hope to find an imperfection on the car to charge you with. After turning in the keys at the desk, I was sent back out to the garage where another employee spent 10 minutes going over the car with a flashlight. He managed to find a small scratch on the roof on a car with 40,000 km on it that I disputed. All the other previously marked damage was much bigger. He presented his phone for me to sign, when I asked what I was signing he said “that I rented the car” but was quickly sent a damage incurred email.I do have supplemental insurance through a third party. We’ll see how much hassle and deductible that results in.Be aware of what you’ll go through here if you choose to use them- I would not use them again.
