I highly recommend Polish Origins for both their genealogical research and their genealogical tours. My father and I recently took a seven-day tour with Polish Origins to visit his ancestors’ villages. I was impressed with Polish Origins from the early email correspondence with Kasia Tonia (our tour manager), who was able to find two branches of the family even though I had given her incorrect information! Zbigniew Stettner was our genealogist and guide – I am still in awe of his archival search process, his analytical skills (e.g., the connections he makes between individuals and between records), and his networking on the ground. We visited the villages and parishes of our ancestors. We met fourth cousins and second cousins that we did not know we had! Zbigniew was even able to find two sisters who knew of Barbara, the daughter my great-grandfather left behind in Poland. Barbara helped raise their mother and her siblings; the sisters were able to tell us heart-warming stories they heard about Barbara from their mother, aunt, and uncle.Polish Origins, Kasia Tonia, and Zbigniew Stettner provided my father and me a trip of a lifetime that we will never forget. Kasia did a fantastic job liaising with researchers and following up on my questions. Using their basic package, PolishOrigins research yielded tens of records pushing few generations back into a past unknown to us. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Polish Origins by a friend at work. Their Research Team, led by Kasia, responded promptly and helped me at no charge to find some information on my Polish ancestors after they had immigrated. I chose to pay for added research on my ancestry in Southern Poland. The price was reasonable and they gave me a acceptable timetable. I had some questions on the report which they soon answered. I had again had follow up questions which required communication with the researcher in Poland. Once again, they responded in a very timely and thorough fashion. I cannot be more pleased. When I do visit Poland, I will be sure to contact Polish Origins.

Polish Origins (PO) planned and executed the trip of my dreams. I had researched my family tree for over 26 years, and had gotten as far as I could with US records and a Polish researcher, and HAD to know more. This was my number one bucket list trip. PO knew exactly what I needed and provided it, anticipating everything. When something went wrong at one of the hotels, PO handled it to our satisfaction immediately at no additional cost. I cannot praise our trip manager, Aleksander, and our guides Daniel and Zbigniew for their patience (I hope we did not drive them totally crazy) and the services and expertise they provided to us. Both of our guides were relentless in helping us find relatives and connections. They also had a good sense of humor as we went along, Bob and I still laugh at the voice on Daniel's GPS in Polish enthusiastically telling him to turn (something like Sprinchlevel!" many times). I found Polish Origins through a genealogical society and engaged them to help push back the family tree. Unlike a similar trip to Ireland, Poland presented a real problem since I don't speak Polish. The assistance of local researchers and a translator were invaluable. Everyone on the staff of Polish Origins was great and the tour guides they arranged for us in Warsaw and Krakow were fantastic as well. I highly recommend Polish Origins.

My sister and I recently arrived back in the USA from an amazing customized two-week genealogy tour with PolishOrigins. My guide was amazing through and through. I fully appreciate him tolerating our minor tardiness in getting ready for our events; he was such a great driver and patient guide as I explained things to my wife and friend in Spanish, and all in all super nice. We all learned a lot from him and I’m very thankful for this. The fact that we also drove a bit out of Zamosc just to pick up the folk traditional attire made a really big difference for me.The genealogy research satisfied my goals and also taught me a lot of new things; I feel that I can go back to the archives myself and carry out additional research, if needed. Additionally, I knew that meeting a relative of mine was part of the itinerary – which was enjoyable and we’re still in touch with each other – but the fact that we stumbled across some relatively-close family members is something I will always remember, and I’m very very thankful for this.We were very well-informed of the tour and my wife – who worked in tourism a while ago – was very impressed with the amount of information provided beforehand.
