cześć! Polish for Foreigners

Hello everyone. My name is Magdalena Bochenek and I'm a Polish teacher who cooperate with Balbina and Basia in the first language school for foreigners in Katowice. Balbina's school is the best place if you want to speak and understand Polish. :) Zapraszamy!

From my perspective as a person who can speak several languages, learning to become a writer and with a Degree in Communication, to whom language is an essential pillar, I must say that the despite the complexity of the Polish language, the teacher explains every lesson in a smooth but amusing way, allowing the students to absorb the knowledge without a huge effort. It focuses a lot on grammar, but in my opinion understanding Polish grammar is the key to learn the language effectively, since an accurate grammar has a high impact in the communication flow of the Polish language.However, once built the skeleton of the language, the student is capable of building himself in vocabulary thanks to the guidance of the teacher. In the beginning, the sensation of learning Polish may seem slow but over time, the knowledge is solid and remains over time.I finished A1 at the school while I know others rushing for B1. However I feel that the quality of my Polish is remarkable compared to those who „achieved B1” very fast. Now I have to live outside Poland but I keep learning the language on my own thanks to the tools and strategies that the teacher provided me. I enjoy using the language with Poles around the world, who are surprised about how cool my Polish is (I can prove it).She also encourages us to participate actively and takes care of her students. Every time I went to class a cup of tea was waiting for me.

Affordable,great teachers,methods and exercise used makes learning polish fun.

I really like lessons with Balbina, she is a great professional, she is very didactic and explains very well and makes everything easier. She also knows how to create a very pleasant and comfortable environment in each class. The school is highly recommended.

Balbina has a great concept to explain also the hard topics in a comprehensive way (e.g. marking in sheets different grammar cases with different colors, giving good examples in case of questions etc.). very coherent in her own concept.prices are absolutely appropriate.An additional very important point is, that Balbina has huge passion and joy in what she is doing. You feel this in small details like krowki" with grammar labels examples in the lessonms after you dealed with the topic to really make sure everybody understands."

It was a pleasure to have lessons by Balbina. She is very competent and has great and interesting methods for teaching. Dziękuję za ciekawe lekcję!

This is a really good school. Lessons are never boring and always engaging. As difficult as it seems, it is actually possible to learn Polish!
