My immigration process was a rollercoaster, but I can't thank them enough for smoothing the ride as much as possible.Honestly, I thought I could handle the Polish temporary residency card application on my own, with a little help from a Polish friend. But I ran into the mean brick wall that is bureaucracy. So I decided to hire a professional.I looked at a few different places and her firm felt like I was talking to an actual person, rather than just a company.Tho, aheads up, its not cheap, but from what I researched, the prices for immigration lawyers seem pretty much the same in warsaw.Talking with her, we decided to appeal my first application and it was successful. If you want to hire a Lawyer that lacks empathy, makes you do all the work and will not accomplish the task you paid for then this is the Lawyer for you.The lack of communication is present. I spent days uploading files to google drive only to be told the next following day that it was in the wrong format or cell. Something a clerk or assistant or herself could probably do in less than two hrs with my document file.I spent a week stressing and voiced my opinion to no resolve.6 months later...I walked into the embassy with my documents and got rejected because we failed to register a document. Justyna then told me to E mail the embassy for further instructions.When I mentioned to her that you are the Immigration attorney maybe you could ask for clarity she refused to solve the problem..I voiced my concern and disappointment with the result of our contract and the lack of result to get no reply.I was told that I would be able to walk into any embassy in the world for Poland and get a Passport. This turned out not to be the case.At this point I might have to fly to Poland and register this myself which will defeat the concept of hiring her and paying thousands of dollars.Monumental waste of time and money.Part 2Embassy second trip. Turns out we did not get a Name change translation..another document not done.I just spoke with person in the same situation that hired a lawyer from Kracow. She did have those forms and paid 2000 for everything.I asked Justyna will we proceed from here and how...No reply. I asked can you show me how you charged me so much with so much missing to also no reply...Half the work for half the documents for twice the money.It turns out that I am still weeks away from just getting registered forget of even applying for a passport..When we started this journey I asked Justyna about the name change and she laughed it off. I am not laughing now..I feel I have been taken advantage off and am still struggling in the bureaucratic process so please do not hire this person..I would like to be compensated for the outrages overcharge for such minimal work that got me half way to what was promised.This lawyer is a scam. After failing to deliver on what I need for a passport she is now telling me that for 4000 CDN she was only hired to prove my Polish Citizenship... Like i would pay someone 4000 CDN for just that when we have been talking abut my passport in every e mail exchange for over 6 months. Also she will ask you to pay up front. DO NOT PAY HER!!! other than a retainer. You may very well end up like me. Stuck in a bureaucratic line up in a foreign country without a passport dealing with it on your own out of pocketSam

I came to her in a doomed state with my TRC application. She took over my case and, after 2 years, finally got my TRC. She'd never make any false promises about the nature of decisions issued by the office for foreigners, as that's not in her control. Sometimes, this can be quite nerve-racking for the client. But, she is 100% committed to her clients, exercises cases with due diligence, and brings out the best possible outcome depending on one's case. I'd definitely recommend her.
