SKY HOSTEL

Very short beds in hostel. One morning no toilet paper in sight with about 50 people staying there and no staff at location. Located next to a night club; noise. Nice location for old town though. This hostel ought to upgrade on most parameters and up the price. Better beds, more privacy, a place for all the stuff you need to charge etc. on top of all this there seem to be some people living there for months on creating a bad vibe at least while I was there. Even though the hostel is cheap I would for sure look for other accommodation.

They canceled the reservation of my girlfriend last minute, and she had to search for a new hostel during the night with the luggage. She found another hostel, hopefully. But, in a few days this hostel charged her, and they wrote on Booking that she didn't come. When I contacted the person from this hostel, she said that this is Karma, and we shouldn't leave them bad feedback.I was trying to talk to them politely, but the woman on the phone was rude and shouted at me.I just want to warn other people and their beloved one to NOT stay at this hostel and your Karma will be positive:)

Do not stay here!We were there for 2 nights and not one second longer than we had to.When we tried to Check in nobody was there even though the reception was open. The first thing we noticed was the awful smell in the hostel. After some time there was a nice women who unfortunately couldn’t speak any language beside russian. She showed us our beds and the rest of the hostel. The kitchen is very small and you can’t cook there. We didn’t want to touch any of it because everything was simply dirty as hell. The fridge and everything else was shared by some people who apparently live there permanently. Half of the showers and toilets couldn’t be used because they were broken and the rest was once again dirty. There was yelling in russian the whole time we were there and people just walked straight in and out of the bedrooms like it’s their living room. It isn’t possible to lock the door to your room (no key or card). At Check Out there was once again nobody at the reception but you don’t have any keys so it doesn’t really matter.They cancelled our booking before the first night, so we couldn’t leave a review in the app. We met other people who were in the same situation what leads us to think that it’s their way to only get good reviews.The only good thing about the hostel is its location and that there are lockers for your bagage. But you have to be careful with those lockers. They seemed to be repaired more than one time.All in all, we didn’t feel comfortable or safe. It was not a good stay. Wouldn’t recommend.

Friendly and very clean, convenient for the old town and Central station. WiFi was slow but usable. Clothes washing service was great.

The location is perfect, the hostel is clean but the receptionist doesn't speak a word of English so it's very difficult to communicate, which is quite surprising for a hostel in such a touristy location.

I would not spend one more night in this hostel. Has been already in other hostels in Krakow, but this one is definitely the worst. One of the owner (younger man) talks loudly at 1 am, the lady is nice, but doesn't speak but ukrainian. It runs out of warm water quickly, can't flush the toiletpaper. The only good thing is that is located in the old city center and there are stores nearby.

Absolutely disgusting place.It’s cheap, it’s in a good location, other than that it’s disgusting. We left after one night even having paid in full.Hard to find, reception desk is unmanned and they don’t speak any English.The apartment entrance door although has a lock code, is old and doesn’t lock properly. Entrance to bedrooms has no lock. So not only could anyone in hostel enter your room, any stranger off the street could also. We were given one lockable locker for two people. After asking for a second and the receptionist fumbling with keys for 10mins opening up various LOCKED lockers with people belongings in them she motioned that there was no other locker for us. Completely disorganised, my partner and I were placed separately on random bunk beds and only one locker for both our bags (which of course wouldn’t fit)No actually showers, just taps with a spray hose attached. Toilets were tiny, rickety stalls and dirty. Considering the whole apartment floor is sharing two toilets they were not in good condition.Our biggest gripe was the with the hostel having, live in tenants we shared a room with. I don’t like to judge people but clearly this place is more of a shelter than a hostel. The bedroom absolutely stunk, the men often slept all day, ate in the bedroom. It’s a very small cramped room with the bunks close to each other. You can’t get two people in and out of bed or open a locker without getting in each others personal space.All night snoring, farting and in and out with lights etc… it was revolting.The kitchen seemed reasonably clean but so occupied by the live in tenants that I wouldn’t like to cook in there anyway.We will never stay again. Never book this place. Completely unreliable, extremely rude staff.Canceled my booking last minute, when I was already on the plane and didn't have any chance to book something else. I saw the message when landed.The property was contacted before saying I'm coming late, they confirmed. Then booking was canceled.Thanks God i found another place to sleep over.Moreover I was charged the full price. After contacting the property they said it was 'karma' for leaving them bad review on booking (for canceling last minute)Such a shame on you.And last but not least.To clean your 'karma' donate this money to Ukrainian army.

*EDITED TO ANSWER HOSTEL COMMENT**One of the worst experiences... Couldn't go to sleep as every few minutes service person was coming into the room, not even bothering to close the door behind them. Talking through the phone in the room, turning on the upper lights or walking around with light turned on on his phone, flashing it to everyone's eyes. If you're going somewhere early, chose some other place to stay. Up until midnight, latest hour for check in, no chance for any decent sleep. I slept 2,5h. Run by Ukrainians.*EDITED PART*No, I do not judge people by their Nationality. It was simply stating fact.I was staying in a hostel with check in til midnight before, so it is not a problem. Me saying that no chance for decent sleep until it's after midnight was also stating the fact. Problem was service people not knowing which beds they have free and which lockers, which resulted in a room being a walking passage in a metro station.
