I got installed a camp roof top up roof by an authorised local installer.The product is cheap and not comparable to reimo or higher cost items.That said it makes its job.What I found really disappointing is the total lack of support: I sent two emails and called multiple times for two specific reasons and they never replied.On the phone they keep saying that they will respond to email but they don’t.I was needing support on the tuev homologation document (I never received it) and with installation guidelines because the local installer was not able to do a nice job on my vehicle.One month after my first review (one star only), I review this definitely improving.After my first review, the folks at Camproof reached me to understand what was happened.We had a video call where I showed how the roof was installed and they understood why I was so upset.They then have been very supportive in terms of:1. Shipping to me, free of charge, the parts needed to finish my vehicle.2. Providing instructions on how to finish it3. Reaching the installer to try to help me to get a nice work done. This was not successful but I believe this is not camp roof responsibility, they did all what they could to help me.I would suggest for the future a couple of thoughts that might be helpful for the future growth of Camproof1. Make available written fitting instructions on their website so that final customer can check if the mounting is done properly2. Provide a customer satisfaction survey for final customers able to separate feedback on product from feedback on installer3. Publish retail prices of the non installed roof so that installer markup can be assessed. Otherwise there might be the risk of having final prices quite close to the ones of other brands and this might impact competitivity of the brand.4. Provide on their website description of the available kits and differences. This would help final customers to understand what installers are offering before the work is done.
